About us
Commerce infrastructure for African businesses
We exist so that anyone with something to sell can run a real business from their phone.

Our story
Millions of African entrepreneurs sell incredible products every day — through WhatsApp messages, Instagram DMs and market stalls. But the tools built for them stop at taking payments. Inventory lives in notebooks, orders in chat threads, and growth in guesswork.
Safelynk started in Ghana as an escrow payments app. Talking to hundreds of sellers taught us the real problem was bigger: they didn't just need safer payments, they needed a complete, simple way to run a business online.
Today, Safelynk gives every vendor a branded storefront, every payment method their customers use, delivery options that make sense locally, and the numbers to grow on — for less than the cost of a taxi ride.
How we got here
Safelynk starts as an escrow payments app protecting buyers and sellers in Ghana.
We listen to our vendors and pivot: what they really need is a complete way to sell online.
Safelynk relaunches as a storefront platform — stores, payments, delivery and insights in one.
What we believe
The principles behind every feature we ship.
Merchants first
Every decision starts with one question: does this help a vendor sell more, stress less, or get paid faster?
Trust is the product
Money is involved, so there's no room for 'almost right'. We build carefully and own our mistakes loudly.
Simple beats clever
Our users are busy running real businesses. If a feature needs a manual, we haven't finished designing it.
Local by design
Mobile money, pay-on-delivery, market-day rhythms — we build for how commerce actually works here.

A small team with a big bias for shipping
We're builders, designers and operators based in Ghana — and we're hiring.
